Legislation

 Legislation is defined as:

  1. the process of writing and passing laws
  2. a law or laws passed by an official body, especially a governmental assembly

The Nevada State Legislature meets every odd-numbered year in Carson City for a session that lasts 120 days. Between sessions, the Interim Finance Committee makes fiscal decisions, and members of the Legislature are involved in subcommittee work.
